Here we have Christmas '04.
Well, Christmas '03 was good too, but that year was busy and we never got up the pictures and tunes for that year because in part Sue and I left for a long sea cruise shortly after the holidays, but we do have pictures of the past Christmas and a master recording which I hope I'll be able to post real soon now thanks to Lester Weller. And, well, the day job got in the way (toe in the sand).
But! For Christmas '04 we think we did get a good recording (audio) and some good starting pictures. Here's the first pass. We need pictures and stories from those who were here. With luck, and great thanks to Lester Weller, we may well have a boxed set of CD's real soon now from this most recent Christmas. For only $29.95
(well, not really) you too! can own the audio track for this past Christmas party at Pleasant Plains (which is very cool). But Wait! But if you act now and contact us, we'll include a CD of 2003 if you contact pdodds@rhassociates.com right now, and swear you were there, or meant to be.

Okay, since I'm driving this web site, I get to show off
our granddaughter Molly getting ready for the festivities. We're working the Christmas tunes here and having some fun. She's learning guitar early, perhaps because under the influence of the "Wiggles"? Well, I might help.
That's what Pops are for. |

| The "Irish Potato Famine" started off (above).
Sue Dodds on bass (left most) then Philip Dodds on guitar. Next on
lead voice is Wendy Weller. To her immediate right is her husband
who is on mandolin: Lester Weller, and to his right, our great
leader in the "IPF", Bob Showacre. We are still
"starving for talent" after 35 years! (We miss Ken and
Chris, but we know they are with us in spirit).
Next (above to the right) we have "The Kriss Sisters"
doing their bit. (You simply must get the CD when we get it done to
hear it!). Left to right, Laurie Kriss Hewitt, Nancy Kriss
Randall, and Susan Kriss Hayden Dodds. What an event! The Kriss
Sisters! Together again and at last!!
To the right we have Janie Meneely and her friend Paul holding forth. I love
the fact that our granddaughter Molly likes the music. Isn't she cute?

| Here above the pipes carry forth, and to the upper right
friends and family gather. Orlando Ridout IV is visiting with Alex
Kriss' family (my brother in-law) and others. Alex, as usual,
looks pretty relaxed, I think. And his daughter, Barbara (to
our right) looks pretty darn grown up!
We live in a "Ridout" house, so having Orando the IV here was
very nice indeed. And, he has told me that we are related some
generations past. He should know. He knows all the history
hereabouts.
To the right are my nephews Ciry and Yann, and in the center, of my
sister Thackray. Aren't they a wonderful trio? Too bad Jean François
was in the other room when the picture was taken (we'll get you
and add to this!). |

| Above and to the right, Joanna Materson offers up a tune
backed up by The Four Cool Guys from Annapolis. Then Janey Meneely
adds another tune. All of these are captured on the PPF Christmas CD
soon to be replicated.
The pictures below here were contributed by Jim Hollan. Thanks
Jim!

| Right: Pam, M.L., Sue, and Annie.
Below: The Jimster him self (he does take the cake in the end)
Below right: Philip (me) and Father James. (It's just a rumor;
he's not really my father).

| Right: Dick, M.L. and Pam.
Below: Pam, Dick, Jim, Nathaniel, Seamus and Gail
Below right: The Kriss trio, Laurie, Nancy and Sue, and daughter/niece
in foreground, Jessie.
That's all we have for this year until some of you send some more to
post! |
