Old houses and metal work go together.  When I set out to find a source for "stars" to hold the wing together, I was referred to G. Krug & Son on North Saratoga Street in Baltimore (410 752 3166).  This is an old family business that has been around as long as our house!

They had just what I needed, and when they heard I had come from Annapolis, they custom made support plates and got the order together within an hour -- just so I wouldn't have to drive back!
