My father was born in Baltimore at 3101 Clifton Avenue on
October 3rd, 1913. His birth certificate is signed by his
father, Solon Dodds, MD. His mother was Elsie Robbins Dodds.
To the right is my Grandmother, my aunt Jean, and my father. He's
a happy baby!
Lower right you can see him motoring on the Severn River with his dog
Chips (he spoke fondly of Chips until his death). He was a swimmer
and competed, and loved the water.
Lowest on the right you see him as a midshipman at the Naval Academy,
sitting on his parents cottage by the Severn River.
